ECNG is a dynamic academic forum designed to empower nephrology professionals by offering a structured platform to learn, share, and grow together. Over the past two years, ECNG has evolved into a highly valued platform that many nephrologists across Kerala and beyond actively engage with to enhance their clinical acumen.

 

The forum is supported by 9 active Expert Opinion Givers, including professors from leading medical colleges across Kerala. These senior faculty members moderate sessions, provide insightful commentary, and share journal reviews aimed at nurturing the next generation of nephrologists.

 

ECNG features 25 carefully selected active speakers, known for their clinical expertise and academic excellence. They regularly present on topics assigned to them, backed by evidence-based insights and vibrant, impactful slides. These presentations provide high-quality take-home messages and are aligned with national and international trends in nephrology.

 

A core mission of ECNG is to promote active participation from Budding Nephrologists — including DM and DNB (DrNB) postgraduates and junior consultants with less than three years of experience.

They are encouraged to present well-worked-up clinical cases, receive direct feedback from senior mentors, and build the confidence to present and defend their work in academic forums.

 

✅ 24 academic grants are awarded annually in recognition of high-quality case presentations by budding nephrologists.

✅ We maintain strong academic collaboration with the DNB Nephrology Program of the National Board of Examinations, led by Maj. Gen. Renjith Nair, with enthusiastic participation from DNB trainees across India.

 

ECNG meetings draw over 200 practicing nephrologists from Kerala, many of whom attend regularly. The format is designed to be concise, impactful, and accessible, helping even the busiest clinicians stay updated without the burden of heavy reading.

 

Sessions are conducted online at 9:00 PM, allowing participants to join from the comfort of their home. Topics span across:
